Photography was love at first sight for me. As a five-year-old, I was infatuated with my aunt and uncle’s Polaroid camera. I was mesmerized as the images came to life before my eyes.
At age twelve, I bought my first camera from Boys’ Life Magazine. I longed for a Boy Scout merit badge in photography. When the camera arrived, I knew I was in love. A decade later, I graduated from photography school. It was the perfect blend of art and science.
Commercial photography has taken me through forty-five countries. From the incredible beauty of Bali, to earthquake-ravaged Port au Prince, to an AIDS orphanage in Johannesburg and more. My work has been seen in books, magazines, annual reports and on the web.
My enthusiasm for photography only grows. The journey is my destination.
